Long text

Multi-line text. In the grid, the value is edited via its own editor with a formatting toolbar instead of simple inline input.

With the Markdown display format (see Display formats at a glance), a long text field is shown as rendered, formatted text instead of raw text – this is exactly what the Wiki view uses for page content, for example, and this entire handbook consists of long text fields with the Markdown format.
