Manage columns
Via a table’s column header (click the small arrow next to a column name) you can, per column:
- Override the field type – e.g. to force a date picker on SQLite (which has no native date type), or to enable number formatting on a formula column. See Field types at a glance.
- Set a display format – purely cosmetic, never changes the stored value. See Display formats at a glance.
- Override the column name – a display name independent of the physical column name in the database. Survives a resync.
- Set as display field – the field shown elsewhere (foreign key selection, form title) as a stand-in for the whole row.
- Hide in this view – per view individually, doesn’t affect other views.
- Delete column.
The “+” icon at the right edge of the column header adds a new column – the chosen field type determines which additional settings are asked for (see Field types at a glance).
Columns can also be reordered by drag and drop in the header row; the order is saved per view.
