Field types at a glance

Every column has a field type. There’s a distinction between physical field types (real columns in the database) and computed field types (exist only within IllusionDB, no database storage of their own).

Physical field types:

• Text
• Long text
• Number
• Decimal
• Yes/No
• Date & Date+Time
• UUID
• JSON
• Auto-number
• Attachment
• Foreign key – see Foreign key (1:n)

Computed field types:

• Formula
• Lookup
