Markdown editor
Opens when editing a Long text field with the Markdown display format.
Live preview, Obsidian/Typora-style: only the paragraph the cursor is currently in shows the raw Markdown source (editable, terminal look). Every other paragraph immediately shows the fully formatted result – bold, headings, lists, tables, and so on. As soon as the cursor leaves a paragraph (by clicking another paragraph, with the arrow keys, or after a brief typing pause once a blank line has started a new paragraph), it’s automatically rendered; a separate preview toggle is no longer needed as a result.
A toolbar offers formatting shortcuts (headings, bold/italic, lists, …) – depending on the kind, either wrapped around the current selection (e.g. **bold**) or as a line prefix (e.g. # Heading, - List item) – and always acts on the currently active (raw) paragraph. Ctrl+Z/Ctrl+Y (or Ctrl+Shift+Z) undo and redo changes, independent of the browser’s own undo history.
