Date & Date+Time

Two separate field types: Date (no time) and Date+Time. They’re edited via your browser’s native date or date-time picker.

Some databases – SQLite above all – have no native date type of their own. In such cases you can manually override a column’s field type to “Date”/“Date+Time” (see Manage columns), even if auto-detection would have guessed something else.

The Date format display format lets you adjust how it’s shown (ISO, German, US, GB, or spelled-out month names; for Date+Time also 12-hour/24-hour) – see Display formats at a glance.
