Document templates
Under Settings → Document Templates you create the templates that the document view uses to generate PDF/PNG/JPG files.
A template is bound to a specific table and written in a Twig/Jinja2-like template syntax. A “field cloud” next to the editor inserts {{ fieldname }} at the cursor position when clicked – for every column of the bound table. Markdown long-text fields are automatically rendered to safe HTML in the process, not inserted as raw text.
Further settings:
- Public/Private – a public template can be generated without logging in (e.g. for a link you share externally); a private one requires a valid session or an API token.
- Test run – generate a document against a real row as a trial before you save.
