Script engine
Under Settings → Scripts you create named JavaScript scripts – run in a built-in, pure-Go JavaScript engine (no Node.js needed).
A script consists of a name, code (a plain text field with tab indentation), and an on/off toggle. The code runs inside a function – a return value; at the end returns that value, just like in a normal function.
Every script has a 3-second timeout – if it runs longer (e.g. an infinite loop), it’s aborted.
A script on its own only becomes usable through a binding:
- as a custom endpoint (bound to an HTTP route), or
- as a hook (bound to a database event).
Scripts can be exported as .js files and imported again.
